The battle's bread

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothée 6 :12)
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I kept the faith. "(2 Timothée 4:7).

Many times, in the Bible we find the word “to fight”. The Son of God came on this earth to give us strength to fight, to destroy the devil's work as he did himself and he came also to pay a high price, “the price of our redemption”.
Many believers are wondering in their heart if it’s really necessary to fight, because all things seem already accomplished, but anyway God always does what he planned, His Word and prophecies are there to prove it.
In Hebrew the verb “to fight”, is curiously the same word for “the bread" but without distinction of the vowels that didn’t exist at the time of Yeshua. Some Hebraic expressions are typical “They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence” (Proverbes 4:17), “Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious” (Proverbes 9:17), "You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful” (Psaumes 80: 6).

Sometimes the word "bread" has another meaning, different of the one that we expect. But it is nevertheless about the same used word. The bread has one purpose: to feed us, it is our food. Anything that is important for us, everything that has value for us will be called «my bread, my food. Even Yeshua said that "my food is to do the will of my Father"
People in this world love and run after sin and wickedness: it’s their food. For us, our food is to do the will of God, that is the reason of our presence here on this earth: to fight and destroy the works of the devil.
It's our bread , it's our fight, it was the purpose of the apostle Paul’s life, who went in peace, he had the firm insurance to have done the right thing to do: to fight against Satan.

Laham:
Root of the word” fight”. A primary root of some verbs such as: to fight, to wage war, to attack, to consume, to lead, to support, to besiege, to win, to eat.

Lehem: Root of : bread, to eat, to feed, meal, food, supplies or reserves, feast, income, corn, fruit, abundance, maintenance, grain, wheat bread. Our daily bread is like this double-edged sword: the Bible. in fact, the Word of God in our mouth and on our lips, is all powerful to overthrow the dominions. That’s the reason of our call. That’s why God keeps us on this earth to save other people. .

Our bread is our battle.

Amen
